Russ McAskey has been named morning anchor of Dallas CBS owned station KTVT.
“I am thrilled to be returning home,” said McCaskey. “It’s the best possible scenario to be able to do a job you love, in a place you love and as a bonus, be close to family and friends.”
He’ll join Karen Borta from 4:30 to 7:00 a.m. starting June 1.

McAskey last worked at KJRH in Tulsa where he was an evening anchor. He’s also worked at KWTV in Oklahoma City and KXII in Sherman, Texas.
