Brittney Johnson is joining Dallas NBC owned station KXAS as as an anchor/reporter.
Starting Sept. 22, Johnson will join Brian Curtis as co-anchor of the 10 p.m. newscast.
KXAS and Telemundo vp of news John Stone said he sees Johnson as a “committed journalist” who “tackles important stories with tenacity.”
“I look forward to our audiences meeting Brittney soon and seeing for themselves what an outstanding journalist she is,” he said.
Johnson comes from WSOC in Charlotte, N.C. where’s she’s been working as an anchor and reporter since 2015. She’s also worked in Little Rock, Ark. and West Monroe, La.
