A coyote canceled a live shot for High Point, N.C. Fox affiliate WGHP Monday night, which is ironic since the story was about coyotes.
Reporter Daryl Matthews and photojournalist Ryan Terhune were getting ready to go live for the 10:00 p.m. news when they saw the canine. The station says the two canceled the hit to be safe.
The station says neighbors in the area have recently reported seeing coyotes casually roaming the streets in broad daylight.
