WFTV, the Cox Media Group owned ABC affiliate, in Orlando and WRDQ the independent station have a new general manager.
Jason Meder will join the station and report to the Cox market vice president, Paul Curran.
He will oversee the daily operations and planning at both television stations.

Meder is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, Meder comes to WFTV-WRDQ after 16 years at Cox Media Group’s Tampa radio division, most recently as director of sales.
