Karen Bennett has been named svp and chief HR officer for Cox Media Group.

Bennett was svp and chief HR officer for YP. Before that she was svp of Human Resources for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. for almost 14 years.

She replaces Deborah Thomas, who announced she was retiring after more than 12 years at CMG.
