Court Hearing Set for Former Sacramento Anchor

By Mark Joyella

Former Sacramento anchor Sabrina Rodriguez is expected in court Friday on shoplifting charges, as the criminal case that forced her from her job at Fox affiliate KTXL moves toward a resolution. Rodriguez, who was a morning anchor at the station, resigned after charges were filed.

The Sacramento Bee reports Rodriguez has been out of jail on $10,000 bond–she faces three felony charges.

Rodriguez entered a “not guilty” plea in the case back in November, and has vowed to clear her name.
