Concerned Residents Return FOX Houston Station’s Stolen Laptop

Two Houston residents found and returned a laptop that was stolen from a KRIV news truck.

The KRIV crew was covering a protest in Houston’s historic Freedmen’s town when someone broke the rear window of their news truck and took the laptop.

“I was very concerned about it,” Gladys House told KRIV reporter Randy Wallace. “Fox 26 has always been a supporter of our cause and our community.”

The two women put the word out on the street and found the two drug addicts who stole our lap top.

“I had to make something happen and I did,” Johnson said.

No one in the newsroom could believe what these two strong willed women did for us including our boss Bob Morford.

It was an act of kindness our boss hopes to someday return to the Freedmen’s Town Preservation Coalition.
