Eric Elwell has been named chief meteorologist for Dayton, Ohio CBS affiliate WHIO. He comes from WBNS in Columbus, Ohio.
Elwell told viewers about the move. “Just so you know I am not going far away! I will be heading to WHIO-TV, Channel 7 in Dayton to become the Chief Meteorologist starting next week!”
He started his career at WTVA in Tupelo, Miss. before moving to KAKE in Wichita, Kansas. He worked at Ohio New Network before joining WBNS in 2012.
