KXRM news director and anchor Joe Cole has decided to concentrate on doing one job.
Cole said goodbye to viewers of the Colorado Springs Fox affiliate last night so he can focus on being news director. He said Scott Killbury will replace him as the evening anchor.
“After 15 years on the FOX21 anchor desk, I’m stepping into a new role here at FOX21,” said Cole. “I look forward to watching the news from my home. If anything goes wrong, I’ll call.”

Cole anchored the station’s first newscast in 2001. Killbury is a multimedia journalist who worked at WHEC in Rochester, N.Y. until July.
