CNN has unveiled the name and the start date for its new 8pm show featuring Eliot Spitzer, former Governor of New York (and former Client #9), and Kathleen Parker, a Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist.
The show will premiere on October 4th and will be named… “Crossfire.” No, no, it will be named simply “Parker Spitzer.” It will face stiff competition in primetime as it goes up against MSNBC’s “Countdown” and Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor.” CNN’s promo for the show alludes to this competition as Parker jokingly offers “The Spitzer Factor” as a potential show name.
