WCPO anchor Clyde Gray says he will take medical leave from the Cincinnati ABC affiliate to address an “ongoing and nagging mobility issue.”
Gray, the station’s evening anchor, shared the news with viewers during Tuesday’s 5 p.m. newscast. “I have the support of the world’s best wife and children, my friends here at work, and those of you who are friends at large,” he said. “And with all of you in my corner, I am confident 100 percent and strong.”
Gray, who has been at the station since 1991, said he hopes to be back on the air in late October. [h/t Cincinnati Enquirer]
