Chung Blames Husband for Tabloid Journalism’s Rise

Thursday night’s “Reel Journalism with Nick Clooney” event at the Newseum was a conversation with married news-couple Connie Chung and Maury Povich about the current state of journalism.

But the event, which also featured a screening of the 90s film “The Paper,” turned a tad uncomfortable when Chung started to mock her husband, even blaming him at times for the tabloidization of media.
