Chris Sutter is joining WDRB, the Fox affiliate in Louisville, as weekend morning co-anchor.

Sutter comes from WILX, the NBC affiliate in Lansing, where he was a reporter. He has also worked at WLEX in Lexington, Ky.

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome Chris to the WDRB News team,” news director Barry Fulmer said in a statement. “The expansion of our morning newscast to weekends has been enthusiastically received by viewers, and that growth has necessitated an expansion of our staff as well. We’re confident that Chris’s personality is a perfect fit for the show and that our viewers will receive him warmly.”
