Chelsea Kopta, a reporter and digital journalist at KHQ, signs off from the Spokane NBC affiliate Friday.
“It is with mixed emotions — excitement and a heavy heart — that I announce my departure from KHQ,” Kopta wrote on Facebook recently. “After two incredible years in Spokane, I am heading to the Big Apple to continue my career as a reporter in New York City!”
Before joining KHQ, Kopta also worked at KOMO in Seattle and KEPR in Pasco, Wash.
