Charlotte Fox Station Adds Assistant News Director

Amber Statler-Matthews has been hired as assistant news director for Fox-owned Charlotte station WJZY.

Before working at Statler Media as the president, producer, videographer and editor, Statler-Matthews was ep for special projects and investigations at WFOR in Miami. She’s also worked at WPLG and at WSVN in Miami.

“I am delighted to bring 25 years of television news experience to FOX 46 and look forward to joining a team that develops a strong news product in this competitive Charlotte market,” said Statler-Matthews.
