Charlotte FOX GM to Bring On Former News Director from Previous Station

Karen Koutsky has been named news director at FOX owned Charlotte station WJZY-WMYT.

Koutsky and WJZY GM Karen Adams worked together for 13 years at WGHP, which was a FOX owned station until 2007, when Adams was the GM and Koutsky was news director. Adams left WGHP in 2013.

“I’m honored to be back with the FOX O&O’s and working again with Karen,” said Koutsky.

Koutsky has also worked as assistant news director at WTHR in Indianapolis and WTVG in Toledo, Ohio. She’s also worked at WAGA and WXIA in Atlanta. She starts January 5.
