WBTV anchor Paul Cameron is recovering from an infection in his knee.
The Charlotte Observer reports Cameron’s knee, which had been replaced last year, had become badly infected.
He underwent surgery on July 11 to have some tissue removed and the knee implant replaced. After two different different antibiotics were tried, he’s feeling better.

“It’s been a rough five weeks,” said the 62-year-old Cameron who will return part-time to WBTV on Monday. He’ll go full time on Aug. 29.
