Charlie De Mar has been hired by Chicago CBS-owned station WBBM as a general assignment reporter.
De Mar comes from WXIN in Indianapolis.
“Charlie is a talented journalist who knows Chicago and understands what Original Reporting means,” said vp and news director Jeff Kiernan. “His style of news-gathering and reporting aligns with our mission to provide viewers with a fresh perspective on what’s happening in and around Chicago.”
He’s also worked at WFFT in Fort Wayne, Ind.
