Central Florida News 13 Shuffles Meteorologists

By Merrill Knox

In the wake of a new morning anchor at Central Florida News 13, the regional cable channel in Orlando is shuffling their weather team, placing two of the station’s meteorologists in new timeslots.

The station swapped Jeff Day (pictured, right), the station’s chief meteorologist, and Ali Turiano, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Day was previously the morning meteorologist, while Turiano handled the weather forecasts for the daytime hours.

Turiano will be paired with Marla Weech, who was named morning anchor last month after the departure of Lisa Bell. Day had previously been paired with Bell, who was with Central Florida News 13 for four years. He will now be paired with daytime anchor Jackie Brockington.
