CBS announced on Thursday that Adam Levy will head the group’s two Miami stations. A longtime CBS employee, Levy was named Vice President and General Manager of Miami’s WFOR and WBFS.

“Adam Levy is an exceptional and inspirational leader who over the course of his 20-plus years in local television has been a key member of the management teams for a number of successful stations, including several duopolies,” Peter Dunn, CBS Television Stations President, said in announcing the move.

Most recently, Levy served as VP and Director of Sales at CBS’ Dallas-Fort Worth duopoly. He has been working for CBS since 2002 and before assuming an executive role in Dallas, he managed sales for KTVT (one-half of the market’s duopoly).

“South Florida is an incredible and diverse market that presents tremendous opportunities for our stations and I am excited to be making the move to Miami and being a part of a proud and successful team,” Levy said.
