CBS Television Stations reported a 17% increase in revenues during the fourth quarter of 2012.

Local broadcasting revenues, which include both television and radio stations, were $787 million compared to $721 million for the same quarter last year, an increase of 9%. The company as a whole reported $3.7 billion in revenues for the quarter, a slight increase of 2% from the year-ago quarter.

“CBS has turned in another quarter of exceptional performance, capping off another terrific year,” CBS corporation executive chairman Sumner Redstone said in a statement. “Our results today speak to the strength of our strategy — producing and distributing great content and monetizing it over and over again.”
