WCCO photographer Dymanh Chhoun has been covering the emerging protests in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death in South Minneapolis, Minn.
And on Wednesday night, it got dangerous for him.
Police used tear gas on the crowds and Chhoun got hit.
He posted a video of his face covered in gas and described how it “stung,” and that if it happens to you, “you need to take your time.”
The protests have gotten violent over the past few days. The CBS photojournalist has documented the riots and destruction on his Twitter account.
