CBS Lobbyist John Orlando Considered for Top Job at NAB

There is news out of D.C. that veteran lobbyist John Orlando, a Democrat, is being seriously considered for the top position at the National Association of Broadcasters. Roll Call has the latest on this developing story…
NAB spokesman Dennis Wharton declined to comment on Orlando or other possible replacements for former NAB President David Rehr, who resigned in May. An exhaustive search is currently underway, Wharton said in a statement.

A CBS spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Orlandos possible departure. If hired, Orlando, 53, would make a return trip to the powerful trade association.
