Storm Team 7 Chief Meteorologist Christy Henderson and a flight instructor are all right after their plane crashed in Spartanburg County Wednesday morning.
Their plane developed engine trouble during a flight with Henderson at the controls and they were forced to make an emergency landing. The instructor took control of the plane when the problem happened and landed the aircraft. The plane went down in a field off Highway 290 and Waste Rd.

The plane flipped over before coming to a stop, according to Henderson’s husband, about a mile away from R.D. Anderson Applied Technology Center. More…
