Carlos Rausseo Joins Telemundo Orlando as Weekday Anchor

WTMO, the Telemundo station in Orlando, has named a new anchor.

Carlos Rausseo will co-anchor the station’s 5, 6 and 11p.m. weekday newscasts alongside Olga Aymat.

“Carlos is an experienced local news anchor. He has an incredible work ethic and is committed to delivering our Spanish-language audiences the local news they need and deserve. Carlos has been part of our Telemundo stations family for many years and has done an outstanding job at KDEN Telemundo in Denver. We are excited for Carlos to join our news team and for our viewers to get to know him,” said Ozzie Martinez, senior vice president of news, digital and standards for the Telemundo station group.

Rausseo comes from KDEN Telemundo where he was a news and sports anchor since 2011. Before that, he worked as a video journalist Univision Colorado from 2006 to 2011.

His first day Telemundo 31 will be May 7. He will make his on-air debut in late May.
