SUV Crashes Into WMUR’s Portsmouth Bureau

Two people were hospitalized this weekend after a Chevy Tahoe careened into an office building in New Hampshire that houses WMUR‘s Portsmouth bureau.

Portsmouth police said the two hospitalized — the male driver and a female passenger — did not appear to be wearing seatbelts.

“We’re not quite sure what happened with the driver, but apparently, he lost control and crashed into the building,” Lt. Mark Newport said.

WMUR is the ABC-affiliate in Manchester, New Hampshire. The car hit the corner of the building, which contains condos and offices in addition to WMUR’s newsroom, around 12:30 p.m. Friday.
