Caitlin Roth Joins WTXF As Weekend Meteorologist

By Merrill Knox

WTXF has officially announced that meteorologist Caitlin Roth will join the station as a weekend meteorologist. She replaces SallyAnn Mosey, who left when her contract was up in December.

“As a Bucks County native, Caitlin knows first-hand the weather concerns and needs of our FOX29 viewer,” Steve Schwaid, vice president and news director at the Philadelphia Fox O&O, said in a statement. “She is a great addition to our weather team.”

News of Roth’s hire was first reported last month. Roth joins WTXF from WOWT, the NBC-affiliate in Omaha, where she was the meteorologist and midday anchor. She will debut this weekend.
