WKBW has “suspended its relationship” with “Airborne” Eddy Dobosiewicz, a local comedian and weekly feature host, after he sent a racist tweet about the Baltimore rioters.
The Buffalo News reports, Dobosiewicz’ tweet said that those protesting the death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore were “acting like animals.” The tweet included a picture of baboons climbing on a car.
Station General Manager Michael Nurse said in a statement that the comments Dobosiewicz posted on the social media network were “insensitive, inappropriate and harmful.”
