Another Buffalo anchor is heading to Dallas.
According to the Buffalo News, WIVB anchor-reporter Nalina Shapiro is following her boyfriend, WGRZ sports anchor-reporter Jonah Javad to Texas.
“We’re sorry to see her go and we wish her well. She’s done a great job for this station,” said WIVB general manager Dominic Mancuso in a statement to the paper.
Javad announced he was leaving the NBC affiliate in December.
Shapiro currently anchors the station’s 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. shows. She joined the station eight years ago.
There is no word on when her last day will be. Javad will remain at the Tegna-owned station through the Winter Olympics.
