Brett Favre’s Return Creates Media Frenzy in Minnesota

From the moment Favre’s private plane arrived at St. Paul Downtown Airport, Channel 5 began airing live chopper coverage. After Favre and his wife, Deanna, got off the plane and climbed into the black SUV with Vikings coach Brad Childress in the driver’s seat, the chopper chased the car as it made its way to Winter Park in Eden Prairie.

A big chunk of the Favre-filled newscast featured footage of the chopper in hot pursuit of the car with running commentary from reporter Bob McNaney, who was in the chopper.
