Brennon Gurley has joined KYTX in Tyler, Texas as co anchor of the evening news.
Gurley is a Tyler native who worked as an anchor and multimedia journalist at Spectrum News 1 in Kentucky. He’ll co-anchor the CBS affiliate’s evening news alongside Marangeli Lopez at 6, 6:30 and 10 p.m.
“This is home,” Gurley told the Tyler Morning Telegraph. “I grew up watching these local stations like CBS19, so this is surreal for me.”

Before working at Spectrum News in Kentucky, Gurley worked as a multimedia journalist in Springfield, Mou., and at KLTV in Tyler as an anchor and reporter in Louisville.
