By saying “Alexa, tell me the news,” Alexa users in Boston can hear local news updates from CBS-owned station WBZ.
WBZ says the service is available to anyone Amazon Echo device and on the latest generation of Fire HD tablets.
“To add WBZ-TV to Flash Briefings, users need to update their personalized accounts via a smartphone with the Alexa app or online at Alexa.Amazon.com. From the menu’s Settings, select Skills and search ‘WBZ’,” says the station.
