Bill Young (pictured left) is leaving Oklahoma City Fox affiliate KOKH to take a job in Huntsville, Ala.

“It was a tough decision, but will be the first time in my career that I will NOT have to wake up before the sun!” Young wrote on Facebook. “My bosses here at FOX have been very supportive and understanding of my decision.”

Young also told viewers that Mitch English (right) will be his replacement starting Thursday. “Bill left some big shoes to fill but I’m up for the challenge and I’m pretty excited to work along Leslie Draffin every morning,” English wrote on his Facebook page.

Young worked as an intern at KOKH before getting a job at KWTX in Waco, Texas. He then worked at KFOX in El Paso.

Before coming to KOKH, English was a weather anchor and host of The Daily Buzz. He also worked as social media/tech contributor for WOFL in Orlando and has worked at KUSI in San Diego, KUWB in Salt Lake City, WTVY in Dothan, Ala., and WCBS in New York.
