Bend’s KOHD Sold to Zolo Media

Zolo Media, part of the BendBroadband companies, has announced it will buy Bend, OR, ABC affiliate KOHD.

“The acquisition of KOHD adds to the growing portfolio of Zolo Media,” said Tim Olson, vice president and general manager of Zolo Media. “As a full power station, KOHD complements KBNZ-LP and our targeted cable networks’ reach in the Central Oregon community.”

BendBroadband said employees of KOHD will join the Zolo Media staff. Zolo Media will move into the KOHD building and operate the station under a local marketing agreement until FCC approval.

Zolo Media also owns Bend’s CBS affiliate KBNZ. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
