Peter Diaz was promoted Monday (April 26) to the newly created position of president of media operations for Belo, one of the nation’s largest TV groups. Since Nov. 2007, Diaz served as evp of television operations. He joined the management committee of Belo in Feb. 2008.
In his new position, Diaz will continue to lead the company’s 20 TV stations and new media efforts, reporting to Dunia Shive, president and CEO.
In addition to his role at Belo, Diaz sits on the executive committee for the board of the CBS Television Network Affiliates Association.More…
