A Baton Rouge, La. station recorded a dramatic rescue after historic flooding in the area over the weekend.

Reporter Robbie Reynold shot the video which TVNewsCheck reports “was the most engaged post on Facebook in the world on Saturday and Sunday, according to Robb Hays, news director of the Raycom-owned CBS affiliate in Baton Rouge, La.”

As of this writing, the post had 350,735 shares on Facebook. The Baton Rouge market (93) has 326,820 TV homes.

At least eight people have died and about 40,000 homes in southeastern Louisiana have been affected. ABC News reports 21 inches of rain fell in 24 hours in nearby Livingston Parish.

The man who eventually pulled the woman out of the car is David Phung, the brother-in-law of a WAFB producer.
