Morning anchor Kiyoshi Tomono is leaving Bakersfield, Calif., NBC affiliate KGET.
Tomono started at KGET in March 2004. He’s also worked at KERO in Bakersfield and WDTV in Bridgeport, W.V.
“The station made a more-than-generous offer for me to stay–this decision was all mine,” Tomono wrote on his Facebook page. He also said he and his wife were staying in town and left a hint he’d be announcing a move to another station.
