Back to the Future Superfan Gives WTTG Big Social Media Reach

So yesterday was Back to the Future day. October 21, 2015 is the day Marty McFly and Emmett “Doc” Brown traveled to in the movie Back to the Future II.

WTTG movie guy Kevin McCarthy did an interview with a superfan who owns a 1981 DeLorean, the same model car in the movie. The Washington, D.C. Fox-owned station posted the interview on Facebook.

According to WTTG, the post hit 933,000 hits in just a few hours. Today we hear the reach is up to 1.1 million.
