A sheriff in Austin is calling out KXAN for a Twitter picture the agency says compromised the safety of its officers.
The Statesman posted the exchange between Williamson Cournt Sheriff, Robert Chody and the station’s assistant news director, Haley Cihock.
Chody was upset over a photo the station posted during coverage of an ongoing standoff where a suspect was barricaded in a home.

The paper reports the station posted a now-deleted photo that promoted Chody to react.
