Emily Giangreco is joining Pittsburgh ABC affiliate WTAE on July 6.
Giangreco has worked as a sports anchor and reporter at KVUE in Austin, Texas since 2019. She worked at KLFY in Lafayette, La. and also spent a few months as a broadcast assistant at ESPN, before that.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said she’ll be the weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter, taking over for Guy Junker, who retired last month after 44 years.

“I’m just really excited to get there,” Giangreco told the Post-Gazette. “I hope you guys welcome me with open arms. And I’m pumped! I swear I’m going to come in ready to run.”
