Leslie Adami will join the TEGNA-owned ABC affiliate Corpus Christi, Texas, as an evening anchor.

“I’m overjoyed and incredibly proud to be joining the KIIIteam,” said Adami. “My family and I grew up with this station, and to work with South Texas’ news leader is a dream come true for me. There’s nothing like the spirit and strength of the people who belong to the Coastal Bend, and I look forward to sharing the stories of those who make it such a beautiful place to live.”

Adami will co-anchor the 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts. She comes from TEGNA’s KVUE in Austin, Texas where she was a morning reporter and fill-in anchor. Before that, she worked at KLBK in Lubbock.
