Elle Duncan, morning traffic reporter for Atlanta NBC affiliate WXIA was arrested for DUI over the weekend.
“I am greatly embarrassed for my actions early Sunday morning,” said Duncan in a statement posted to the station website. “I have been reminded — in a very difficult way – that any amount of alcohol can impair us. I take full responsibility for my actions. I apologize to my fans, our community, and my 11Alive family.”
WXIA added, “We are relieved that no one was injured and will be giving Elle the time she needs to deal with this personal incident.”

According to deadline.com, Duncan has also been working on a pilot for HLN with a working title of “EXP 2.0.”
Duncan started at WXIA last May.
