Atlanta Station to Expand Late Night News Until Midnight

Atlanta Fox-owned station WAGA is expanding its 11 p.m. newscast to an hour starting Monday, September 14.

Anchor Tom Haynes (pictured) will be joined by chief meteorologist David Chandley and sports anchor Ken Rodriguez for the hour-long show.

According to Fox, WAGA will be the only top 50 market station offering live local news from 11:30 p.m. till Midnight Monday through Friday.

“We’re proud to offer an expanded ‘FOX 5 News Edge’ at 11 p.m.,” said WAGA gm Bill Schneider. We’ve always worked hard to serve our viewers with news and information at times that are convenient for them and this expansion is proof of that.”
