FOX5 Atlanta anchor Constance Jones said goodbye to her morning anchor post on Friday.
“Thank you to all of my colleagues with Good Day Atlanta and Fox 5 for welcoming me. I wish Good Day Atlanta and Fox 5 continued success. I will be headed back home to South Florida,” Jones wrote on Twitter.
Her station Facebook page has also been taken down.
Jones arrived at the FOX-owned affiliate WAGA close to a year ago. She came to the station from WPLG in South Florida but it is unclear if she will be back on-air anytime soon.
The station has not yet released a statement on her departure or replacement.
