Atlanta Investigative Reporter Jumps to Network

WXIA reporter Catie Beck has been hired by NBC News and MSNBC as a correspondent based in the Southeast bureau.

She’s been an investigative reporter at the Atlanta NBC affiliate since 2013.

“Her work has been rewarded with numerous honors, including multiple Emmys and awards for investigative journalism, and we’re confident that her keen eye and in-depth reporting skills will be a great value to our team of correspondents,”said David Verdi, svp of Worldwide Newsgathering for NBC.

Beck came to WXIA from WTVR in Richmond, Virginia. She’s also worked at News 8 in Austin and WCJB in Gainesville, Florida.
