Former WAGA anchor Amanda Davis has been charged with DUI.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Davis was arrested around 12:50 a.m. this morning before getting released on bond.

Davis was one of the veteran anchors scheduled to give one minute opinions on Atlanta CBS affiliate WGCL as part of its new Just A Minute franchise.

A WGCL spokesperson told TVSpy Davis has, “requested leave from the Just a Minute Project.” The spokesperson said, “We at CBS46 respect her decision.”

A quick search of the Cobb County Jail website shows Davis was charged with DUI and Failure to Maintain a Lane.

It was the second DUI arrest in recent years for Davis, who was in her 26th year at Fox 5 Atlanta when she was charged with drunk driving in November 2012. She was ultimately found not guilty in that incident — in which she was accused of driving the wrong way down Piedmont Avenue in Midtown and hitting another car — but was ordered to perform 20 hours of community service.

Davis, who left Fox 5 following the 2012 arrest, is scheduled to make her debut on CBS46 on Monday evening.
