By Chris Ariens

Amanda Davis, the morning anchor at CBS46 in Atlanta for the last two years, is hospitalized after suffering a massive stroke at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport last night.

Davis was awaiting a flight when she suffered the stroke. The news was reported on CBS46’s 5 p.m. newscast this evening. WAGA and WSB reported the news as well, during their 6 p.m. shows. Davis spent 26 years at WAGA before departing in 2013.

Adding more grief to the situation, her father passed away earlier this month. His funeral was scheduled for today.
