KTVU has announced associate news director Janice Gin will be leaving the San Francisco Bay Area FOX affiliate after 13 years there.
“Janice Gin has played a key role in the KTVU newsroom leadership for over a decade and we appreciate her years of service,” said Tom Raponi, vice president & general manager of KTVU/KICU. “We wish her the very best.”
In April, KTVU added Lee Rosenthal as news director. Rosenthal came from WXIN in Indianapolis and replaced Ed Chapuis who left KTVU in January.

Before working for Oakland-based KTVU, Gin worked on the other side of the Bay Bridge at KGO in San Francisco. Her last day will be July 12.
