Aspenite Marcos Rodriguez, who owns KUUR-FM and Aspen TV station Channel 19, and has an agreement to purchase KSNO-FM, is adding three radio translators in Glenwood Springs to his growing collection of local media holdings and real estate businesses.
Rodriguez announced Wednesday he has signed a purchase agreement to buy the three Glenwood translators from former Pitkin County broadcast engineer John Dady, who now has a Michigan address.
Rodriguez declined to say how much he was to pay, but said translators are generally much less expensive than radio stations to purchase.
The three Glenwood Springs translators Rodriguez intends to buy include translator K230AZ broadcasting on 93.9 FM, translator K242BL on 96.3 FM and translator K272AI on 102.3 FM. More…
