Tucson’s KVOA has announced the addition of Steve Ryan to its news team. Ryan will anchor the 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. weekday evening newscasts at the NBC affiliate.
“We are very fortunate to get a journalist of Steve’s caliber to help lead our newsroom,” Cathie Batbie, KVOA news director, said in a statement. “Not only has he been on the big stage covering major stories that have captivated our nation’s attention, but he’s also worked extensively on the local level.”
Ryan previously worked at independent station KTVK in Phoenix as an anchor/reporter.
